Ratings:
Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate #90 (Dezember 1993): 88/100
“The 1991 Clos de Vougeot offers a medium ruby color, and a sweet nose of raspberries and currants. Medium-bodied, elegant rather than powerful and concentrated, it is destined to be drunk in its first 7-8 years of life. For a grand cru, it appears less complex and complete than the Nuits St.-Georges-Les Meurgers, Vosne-Romanee-Les Brulees, and Vosne-Romanee-Cros Parantoux.”
Burghound (Oktober 2001): 90/100
“This has put on a lot of weight since release, transforming from a relatively lightweight, supple, forward wine into a true grand cru with solid flavor authority and outstanding balance. The tannins are supple and there is excellent intensity on the long, rich finish.”
