Joe Hahn_Linkin Park, Painted Dean ML Electric Guitar A fabulously delivered comic book illustrative guitar, Mr. Hahn did this one up right with a floating half-body, tribal background, red stars and a floating skull its an amazing piece from this multi-talented member of multi-platinum rockers Linkin Park. With his fellow Linkin Park bandmate, Mike Shinoda, Hahn's intended field of study was illustration but decided to drop out to pursue a career involving overseeing special effects in television shows and movies such as The X-Files, Sphere and Dune. He joined Linkin Park in 1997 as the band's DJ. Since then, he has directed music videos for most singles of his band. He has also directed videos for Static-X ("Cold"), Story of the Year ("Anthem of our Dying Day") and Alkaline Trio ("Time To Waste"). He is also busy doing his own side-projects. Recently, he shot a mini-film called The Seed in Los Angeles and plans to enter it in the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. He is also working on Kung Fu High School and King Rat, which is an adaptation of the novel by China Mieville. He recently opened a small clothing store in Los Angeles' fashion district called "Suru". This is a one-of-a-kind full playable and displayable Instrument of Art. Complete with electronics, pick-ups, strings and hardware installed at Dean USA. It is hand-painted or otherwise decorated by the artist who’s name is associated with the guitar. Proceeds from the auction of this guitar go to support LITTLE KIDS ROCK, one of the most exciting music education programs available to public schools in America. This guitar is one of over sixty pieces created for Six-String Masterpieces: The Dimebag Darrell Art Tribute.
