Description
An early 20th century gold split pearl and diamond ring. The five split pearls, with rose-cut diamond double intervals, to the tapered band. One diamond deficient. Weight 4.4gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resize, with added sections. Small file mark to the side of the band at the back. Significant wear to the settings. Some replacement split pearls, differ slightly in hue. Four have fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, one has fine fractures, durability may be affected. Diamond fairly well matched. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it has not been possible to provide an accurate total diamond weight. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring size R1/2. Stamps indistinct. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
