Description
An early 20th century gold split pearl brooch. The seed pearl, within a rotating split peal surround, to the similarly set foliate border. Length 2.8cms. Weight 8.3gms.
Condition
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. One split pearl deficient. Split pearls are a creamy-white colour, with faint greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, to include pits. Minor to moderate nacre damage to some. Split pearls fairly well matched.
