Two Signed Checks: Orville Wright" & "Wright Brothers"
ORVILLE WRIGHT, Famous American Aviation Pioneer.
February 16, 1918, Partially Printed Document, Check Signed, "Orville Wright," measuring 3" x 8.5," Choice Extremely Fine. Orville Wright has signed this check, filled out by another hand, on the Winters National Bank of Dayton, Ohio, with a bold 2.25" signature. Aside from a smudge in the center (not affecting the signature), this check is in great condition, and has been punch-cancelled (not affecting the signature). Also, accompanied by a second check on the Farmers & Merchants Bank of Dayton, Ohio, dated October 1, 1910, made out by, payable to, and endorsed by LORIN WRIGHT (the third Wright Brother), and Signed, "Wright Brothers." This check is also in excellent condition, with a sealed spindle hole in the center, not affecting the signatures. This is an important pair, having signatures of 2 of the 3 Wright Brothers. We have never before offered a Lorin Wright signed item. (2 items).
