Toni Cordero has worked together with several lamp manufacturers. His lamp designs are mostly typical products of the late 1980s and beginning 1990s. The table lamp 'Ifigenia' keeps in the boradest sense the form of a table lamp with foot, shaft and Cylindrical umbrella. The details, such as the single Violet glass elements or the diffusor foil are than again modified in the sense of the contemporary design.

The lamp is marked on the bottom with the manufacturing label of Artemide. It is 82 cm high and in very good condition with minor signs of usage.

Toni Cordero (1937 – 2001)

Born 1937 in Lanzo Torinese, Cordero graduated in architecture and opened his first design atelier in 1962. Next to several internationally significant architectural works, he was famous for his lighting design and furniture.
