Three Piece Highly Figured Rouge Marble and Bronze Clock Set, 19th c., consisting of a highly figured marble portico clock, by Japy Freres, time and strike, the stepped shaped top with a large gilt bronze eagle surmount, over a beveled glass case flanked by bronze mounted marble columns, on a stepped base on bronze disc feet, together with a matching pair of bronze mounted highly figured covered marble urn garnitures, pendulum now lacking, Clock- H.- 22 in., W.- 14 in., D.- 7 1/2 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Not tested for working order Scattered flea-sized chips are observed to edges of marble. A horizontal crack is observed to the top of the glass panel on the right side of the clock. Pendulum is now lacking. An impressive example.
