German Porcelain Circular Portrait Plaque, late 19th c., of a long haired woman, in a brass Louis XVI style easel frame, the top with a pierced quiver, bow and ribbon garland surmount, Plaque- Dia.- 3 3/8 in., Frame- H.- 6 3/8 in., W.- 5 1/2 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. A flea-sized area of faint paint loss is seen to the left of the figure’s face, and a flea-sized scratch is noted in the figure’s hair on the right side. An alluring example.
