Marilyn Monroe Rare Marilyn Merlot Wine 1990 - Back in the early 1980's a group of winemakers from Napa Valley began making an amazing Merlot. One evening after drinking a bit of their own product they came up with the idea of calling their brew "Marilyn Merlot", since the unique taste of this wine reminded them of the sensuality and effervescence of the legend. A few years later they made a deal with the Monroe Estate to actually begin bottling "Marilyn Merlot" with images of the super-star on the bottle. These bottles became instant collectables. The merlot's from 1986-1992 are considered the most collectable and valuable. This is a Marilyn Merlot Wine bottle vintage 1990 depicting Monroe in her famous pose in her role as Pola Debevoise in "How to Marry a Millionaire" (1953). Unopened and in mint condition. Bottle is 12" high.
