The heddle pulley has no ritual or magical function. They are useful everyday objects, attached to the loom holding a cord that carries the two heddles .They often feature figural carving. The Guro were known for their weaving skills and exported their fine blue and white textiles in pre-colonial times.

Condition:
The pulley is in good condition with signs of age and wear as a few small nicks. The height, without the base, measures 21.5 cm.
