No. 4 in a series of original posters by artist, Adolf Strakhov titled, "Alphabet Revolution". Produced to educate peasants, each poster contains a traditional Cyrillic character along with a Bolshevik parable. Scene depicts advancing Red Army behind fleeing church and capitalist. Age tone, small tears at edge. 11.5"H x 15"W. Matted and framed under glass.

PROVENANCE: Important collection of historically significant Russian propaganda posters spanning from the Tsarist Empire through World War II, with many rare pieces dating to the Russian Revolution and Civil War.
