Wilcox Victorian Silver Plate Wedding Basket. The art glass bowl is cased in clear glass, having a white body with pink oil spots in the bowl moving up into the light blue ruffled rim; enamel decorated exterior surface with leaves and flowers and a silver plated plug at the bottom which fits into the base. The silver plated base has 2 curved arms reaching out from the sides and connecting to the handle at the top, has a leaf pattern between the arms and a round foot with scalloped edge decorated with a seashell border. Signed on the base “Wilcox Silver Plate Co. – 5542”. In very condition with no breaks, bending or repairs to the frame and a nice consistent patina throughout; the bowl is in very good condition with no chips, dings, cracks, losses, damages or repairs. 12 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 9 in. dia.
