This stunning slice of petrified wood comes from the Petrified Forest National Park area in North-Eastern Arizona from an ancient conifer relative to the Norfolk Island Pine. A sunset-like range of purples, lavenders, oranges, pinks and reds are apparent in this specimen which are a result of millions of years underground, permeated by mineral-rich water. Left with natural edges, this polished slice is a gorgeous display piece. The slice measures 1 x 15 7/8 x 15 ¾ in. (height x width x depth).
