This engaging collection of James Dean memorabilia includes 19 1950s press room photographs of James Dean and his co-stars. These photographs were taken on and off the set of Dean’s celebrated films: “Rebel without a Cause”, “East of Eden” and “Giant.” This memorabilia collection also features a rare, limited release pamphlet and silver finish pendant (without chain) from the James Dean Memorial Foundation. Rounding out the collection is a 1956 magazine published shortly after Dean’s death, titled, “The Real James Dean Story.”

Additionally, there is a bonus flexi disc recording of James Dean’s past, “Rebel Without a Cause,” co-stars, Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo. This recording was presented to the last owner by Sal Mineo in West Hollywood. At the time, Warner Bros. Studios’ public relations department released these discs selectively to radio disc jockeys, and not the general public.

There is overall toning to the paper, with damage to the spine of “The Real James Dean Story” magazine. The photographs have curling, pin holes, some tape and a few tears. The largest photograph measures 10 x 8 in. (height x width) and the pendant measures 2 ¼ x 1 ½ in. (height x width).
