Western Europe, WWI, ca. 1914 to 1918. Pair of military brass canon shell casings truned into fine examples of trench art. Each shell 88 mm and marked 75 Dec. Both decorated with similar pattern of dancing nude children or cherubs holding hands as they dance under garland and large oak leaves - as typical, bases with deep fluted grooves. Size: Each 13-1/2".
