From the Eastern Roman Empire, ca 2nd to 3rd century CE. Pottery pouring vessel in near cylindrical form, with short straight neck, flaring rim and twin strap handle. Size: 5-1/4" H.
Provenance: Ex-William Dale collection. Mr. Dale was a US diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a wonderful collection.
