Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jama Coaque, ca. 500 CE. Fine terracotta whistle in the form of a standing shaman in transition to owl. He wears a large necklace and cape over his head and shoulders. Remains of original pigment. Mouthpiece located in tail and whistle functions well. Size: 3-3/4" H
