"Above the Rapids" was produced in 1983 in an edition of 375 signed and numbered copies. This is 14 of 25 Artist Proof copies signed by the artist and Richard Adams, it shows the struggle of an anguished angler as he sees the final jump before the salmon makes way for the rapids below. One of the first portraits of Mr. Adams, who became a guiding legend on the Matapedia River in New Brunswick, Canada. The scene is set in the pool that was later named after him. Matted in a 28 1/2" x 31 1/2" frame and in Excellent condition.
