A beautiful silver cane with white and pink enamel and a rose quartz stone. The silver knob handle is 2 1/2" high and 1 1/2" across the top. It is mostly covered in guilloche enamel and there is 1/2" rounded rose quartz cabochon set in a bezel at the top. The stone is nicely striated and centers white and pink enamel. There is a smooth silver 3/8" ring at the perimeter and the stem is finished in white enamel. The handle ends with two silver rings and there is a tiny hallmark, perhaps French. The shaft is black-painted hardwood that terminates with a 1 1/8" light horn ferrule. The overall length is 36" and the condition is very good. It is ca 1900, and it is a splendid example of the kind. Estimate: $900-$1300.
