A very nice Art Deco gold and rosewood cane

Item Details

Description

A very nice Art Deco gold and rosewood cane. The gold-plated crook handle measures about 7 1/4" along the arc, and is 7/8" at its thickest. It is smooth textured and the end is configured with sharp angled edges typical of Art Deco styling. It is hallmarked for the maker and "double" is indicated, for the twice-done plating. The shaft is dark rosewood that finishes with a 1" replaced brass ferrule. The overall length is 35" and the condition is very good. It is probably English. ca 1920's, and it is a very fine Art Deco decorative example. Estimate: $650-$850.
