This beautiful, original round Gold Gilt Decorative Pin is Hand-engraved with a relief of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.. Below the image of the Capitol is a banner reading, “Washington’s Town”. On the back rear of this Pin are two identifying struck numbers: 6018 and 35. Its Original Pin on the back is completely present and in excellent condition. This Pin comes housed within a period velveteen box marked, “Strawbridge & Clothier, Philadelphia” on its inside top, printed on white silk. An outstanding, absolutely gorgeous highly decorative Pinback Decoration of the early United States Capitol Building.
