Description
Asian, 20th century. A group of two porcelain items comprising of a fish form Japanese Imari ware platter raised on a round foot with hand painted decoration to top of figural and landscape scenes within demilune cartouches accompanied by stylized renderings of fish attributes at their naturalistic locations, such as fins and head, unmarked; and a Chinese Wanli ware style shallow bowl with cobalt underglaze decoration on white ground with central medallion of birds in a landscape surrounded by lappet banding to rim with interior decoration of flowers and precious objects, unmarked. Fish form platter approximately 16.625" long x 8.25" wide, round bowl approximately 12.25" in diameter.
