Description
Chinese, first half 20th century. A group of two white cylindrical porcelain teapots of similar form, one decorated with hand painted dancing lions in orange and green, typical motif for Chinese New Year celebrations, the opposite side with black calligraphic marks, otherwise unmarked; the other teapot with a hand painted landscape scene to one side and black calligraphic marks to the other side, indistinguishable overglaze four character mark to underside. Each teapot with double metal loop handles to top and upturned spout. Each approximately 5.125" tall, 6.25" edge to spout.
