Painting depicts Bealach na Ba, a historic pass through the mountains of the Scottish Highlands, seen in the distance over Loch Kishorn, the mountains rendered in loose strokes in pastel tones with the outcropping of land to foreground full of green and brown foliage and the calm body of water stretching into the distance. Pencil inscription to verso of stretcher with painting title and artist name. Framed approximately 25.75" x 36", unframed approximately 19.875" x 30.25".
