Description
Likely Moser (f.1857), a matched pair of 19th century Bohemian cranberry and gilt mantle lustres or girandoles, both with shaped rims over a bowl alternating with 5 panels of flowers and 5 panels of female full length portraits, the bowl mounted with 10 hanging cut glass prisms, the cranberry ground with dense scrolling gilt decoration. Height 12.5", diameter of mouth 5.25".
Condition
Overall excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. Minimal wear to gilt. Minute flea bites to prisms, due to contact with other prisms. Not readily observable, however.
