Description
Theodore B. Starr (American (New York), 1900-1924, succeeded by Reed & Barton). An ornate sterling silver 3.5 pint pitcher with repousse decoration to each side of pear shaped body with c scroll medallions surrounded by leaves and flowers, the two main medallions being monogrammed, with c scrolled openwork round foot, and scrolled handle with acanthus leaf decoration, Inscribed to underside with maker's mark above "Sterling", and "From F. H. and F. G. R. W. March 31, 1902". Approximately 7" tall x 8.75" spout to handle. Total approximate weight 31.3 troy ounces.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Monogrammed. Interior shows scratches, probably from ice. No pitting evident.
