Framed oil on board. Manner of George Chinnery (1774-1852). The painting depicts an Indian man in a red turban with a young boy fiercely holding on while riding a galloping horse. Measures 8-3/8" x 10.5". An unfinished painting of a horse and rider is on the reverse. Unsigned. The wood frame is pencil signed Chinnery, see photos. Framed measurement 12" x 14".
