Edward Hagedorn (American, 1902-1982) briefly attended the San Francisco School of Fine Arts and was greatly influenced by the works of Lyonel Feininger, Alexel Jawlensky, Vasily Kandinsky and Paul Klee. During the 1920s he worked out of a studio in the old Montgomery Block of San Francisco and in the 1930s was employed by the Works Progress Administration. A lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay area, the latter part of his life was spent in Berkeley where he maintained a studio-residence on Woolsey Street until his death.
Condition
Paper a bit yellowed, some chipping to edges, affecting images in some cases; overall very good.
