DESCRIPTION: Unsigned handwritten statement by Julius Streicher, in pencil, one page, no date, statement to his defense council, defends his membership in the S.A. In full, "If some statement regarding my membership in the S.A. must be made, it should be made without any deprecatory judgement implied! On the contrary! I do not regret that I have belonged to an organization in which hundreds of thousands of the best Germans were gathered." Reverse bears his counsel's shorthand notes regarding the S.A. Streicher formed the German Socialist Party and was tried and convicted at Nuremburg. Includes COA from R&R Enterprises Autograph Auctions. MEASUREMENTS: 8" x 6-1/2". CONDITION: Staple hole to top left, light pencil notation and show through from writing on reverse.
