DESCRIPTION: Glossy photograph of Louis Mountbatten in uniform as admiral of the fleet, signed "Mountbatten of Burma, A.F." in black ink, verso in unknown hand "Admiral of the Fleet (Retd), Lord Louis Mountbatten of Burma" and "Taken at Brough E. Yorks, April 1958" along with previous owner's stamped name and address. Lord Mountbatten was the supreme allied commander in Southeast Asia. Includes COA from R&R Enterprises Autograph Auctions. MEASUREMENTS: 7-3/4" x 9-3/4". CONDITION: Surface creases and scratches, none affecting signature and barely visible head-on.
