DESCRIPTION: Bronze wine vessel, Ming Dynasty, having bands of geometric and naturalistic patterns, loop handle, dome cover, included note reads "Bronze wine vessel used in sacrifices to ancestors. Ming copy (1368-1644) of an ancient type as old as 1200 B.C.". MEASUREMENTS: 14" by 8-3/8". CONDITION: Overall patina.
