DESCRIPTION: Intricately carved wood figure of a man twirling cape, ivory head, hands and feets, carved wood hat and carved wood lidded basket, mounted on naturalistic base of petrified wood, signed under legs with chopmarks, late 19th C. MEASUREMENTS: 10-1/2". CONDITION: Losses to hat rim, minor expected crazes to ivory.Figure and basket detatch from base. Hat detaches from figure.
