Waseda University Baseball Team Autographed Photo Collection (69)
In the early twentieth century Waseda University, along with its rival, Keio, became the two most prestigious baseball programs in Japan. This collection of approximately 69 1920's-30's signed photos of Waseda University baseball players and managers includes 24 autographs of Japanese Hall of Famers. Also included in the lot are 10 non-autographed photos. The Hall of Famers represented are:

Akuta (2 examples), Date (3 examples), Fujimoto (2 examples), Ichioka, Iguchi (2 examples), Itami (2 examples), Kono, Mihara, Mori (2 examples), Nakajima (3 examples), Ogawa (2 examples), Tanaka (2 examples), Tobita. Photos range in size from 2 1/4" by 3 1/8" (majority) to 5 1/4" by 8 1/4". Signatures average 8/10. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
