Collection of (10) 1920s-30s Japanese Pro, Club and School Team Autographed Baseballs
This lot features a rare c.1928 autographed baseball of the Hankyu Takarazuka Kyokai, a pre-Nippon League pro team (Kono, Kataoka). Other balls included are: c.1928 Kobe Star, an OB club; Daimai, a semi-pro team (Ono, Koshimoto, Kirihara); Ichioka Middle School (Tanaka, Date, Hirooka); c.1928 mixed school ball (Nakajima); c.1928 Iwate Fukuoka Middle School; c.1928 Dairen (Manchuria) Commercial School; All-Taiku; Doshisha University; and a ball identified as "S.S.T.B. Tokyo." Various Japanese brand baseballs included such as Mizuno, Yamamoto, Kajimaya. Balls are generally in very good to excellent condition with moderate soiling and very legible signatures. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
