Harmon Killebrew 1960 Washington Senators Signed Game Used Glove
Although one thinks of Harmon Killebrew, "The Idaho Strong boy," as a power hitter, he was also an outstanding defensive player at first base. During the 1960 season with the Washington Senators, Killebrew played 71 games as a first sacker, smacking at a .276 clip including 31 round trippers. No piece of equipment engenders more loyalty form a player than a fielder's glove. As such they are among the scarcest items for collectors to obtain. This pro quality, Rawlings "Trapper" model first baseman's glove was worn by the Senators star during the 1960 season. It exhibits tremendous game use with the partial name "Kille" still visible on the outer thumb in black marker. The glove is autographed by the Hall of Famer "My Game Used Glove, 1960, Harmon Killebrew." Ideal provenance in Killebrew's own hand and great usage characteristics makes this one of the finest Killebrew gloves one could own. LOA from MEARS.
