Large 1920's Original Basketball Oil Painting
This colorful original oil on canvas painting showing a college game in progress dates from the 1920's. The artist's signature "P. Schaeffer" is found in the lower left corner. Such early depictions of basketball during the game's infancy are quite scarce. The painting measures 20" by 30" and is displayed in a period wood framed.
