Tim Duncan 1997-98 San Antonio Spurs Rookie Road Uniform
Duncan is one of the most consistent players in the NBA, having been nominated in each of the first nine years of his professional career for both the All-NBA and All-Defensive teams and for being a perennial Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year candidate. He ranks constantly as one of the top scorers (career average 22.1 points per game, as of November 2006), top rebounders (12.1, with remarkable 3.2 offensive boards) and top shot blockers (2.50). Duncan is the undisputed Spurs franchise player, but strikingly unselfish, he is adept and sharing the ball and is a remarkable passer for a "big man". On the front tail of Duncan's rookie jersey is the "NIKE" manufacturers size 52 tag. Attached to that is an additional manufacturer's tag "LENGTH +4 Made In USA." The inside inseam has two tags, a Nike washing instructions tag and a "1997-98" year tag. Across the front of the jersey is "SPURS" in white on black on grey triple tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the number "21" in white on grey tackle twill. Across the back is "DUNCAN" in white tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The matching NIKE shorts are properly tagged as well including the size 46 tag. Duncan's number "21" is written in black marker on this tag. LOAs from MEARS (A5) and Grey Flannel.
