Bobby Jones First Edition Copy of "Bobby Jones on Golf" Book Inscribed To Gene Sarazen
One of the greatest golfers in history, Bobby Jones is the only man ever to complete golf's Grand Slam. In 1930, as an amateur, Jones won the US and British Opens as well as the US and British Amateurs, completing what was the slam of the era. Only 28, Jones then chose to retire to pusue his law career. Four years later he went on to create the Masters tournament at Augusta, now considered the greatest leg in today's golf Grand Slam. Jones inscribed his signature book, "Bobby Jones on Golf", and presented it to his close friend, former competitor and fellow golf legend. Inscribed "For Gene Sarazen, My Favorite Golfing Companion, and Yours Bobby Jones," this first edition includes its dust jacket. The signature is in dark black ink and rates 10/10.
