Bobby Jones 1947 Signed Letter Referencing Augusta National
In this three paragraph letter, dated September 19, 1947 and signed "Robert T. Jones Jr.", the great golfer discusses the Augusta National Club and its food needs being taken care of by "our colored steward" with closing reference to the new golf club being constructed (later opening as the famous Peach Tree). Jones' signature appears in dark black ink and rates a 10/10. The letter is written on his law firm letterhead and the matching envelope is included. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
