Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball
A superior example of the "Bambino's" signature, scripted boldly in black fountain pen (8/10), appears on the side panel of this double stamped OAL (Barnard) red and blue stitched ball. Written faintly in unknown hand under Ruth's signature is the date "June 14, 1931." This slightly soiled baseball is in very good condition overall with a few scattered scuff marks. Provenance: ball originates from the estate of Charles B. McLaughlin, Bronx District Attorney 1920's-30's, Bronx Judge, 1930-48. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
