Vintage 1950's Mickey Mantle/Casey Stengel Dual Signed Baseball
Through much of the generation following WW II Yankees rosters were heavily punctuated by dependable mainstays and dotted by Hall of Famers. But through the entire decade of the '50's the two pillars primarily responsible for upholding the Yankees dominance were Casey Stengel and Mickey Mantle. It is their signatures, exclusively, that grace the surface of this OAL (Harridge) ball. The ball itself is virtually without blemish, with all of its stampings are perfect. Both of the signatures are strong - Stengel, on the sweet spot, rates 8-9/10 while Mantle's, on the south panel, minimally rates 9/10. Both signatures are ideally placed, allowing for each to be displayed singularly. This pairing, rendered at the height of their reign, is a true rarity on a baseball. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
