Who defined the 1961 New York Yankees better than Roger Maris, the "second part" of the M&M Boys, the ball player who broke the Babe's single season home run record that year and a man who many believe should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame? Here are two classic Maris advertisements from the time period of the star's greatest accomplishments on the baseball diamond. Maris serves as pitchman for Cooper Tire in the first of the two. Measuring 20" by 17", the deep sea blue advertisement in produced on heavy cardboard stock. The second Maris display is an orange, white and blue 11" by 17" advertisement for "Home Run King" Goldmine Icicle. Both are in EX-MT to NM condition.
