These five complementary mementos recall Casey's memorable 1948 PCL Championship campaign. Includes; 1) Large 13" by 20 1/4" oversized team photo. 2) Official Pacific Coast League baseball signed by 24 including Stengel, Lombardi, Lavagetto, Etten, Combs, Tost, Salveson, Christopher, Metkovich, Wilkie, Buxton, Gassaway, W. Hafey, Hamrick, Lodigiani, Scarsella, Jones, Babich, Tobin, Speer, Wilkie, Van Robays, Webber and one unidentified. 3) Scrapbook marked 1948 containing Oakland Tribune 9/27/48 special mini edition plus numerous newspaper clippings that have not been attached. 4) Proclamation from San Francisco Board of Supervisors congratulating the Oaks for winning the PCL Championship. 5) Group of seven original 8" by 10" photos from Casey's term as manager of the Oaks. LOAs from PSA/DNA, JSA and the Stengel family.
