Casey Stengel's 1950's New York Yankees Wool Cap & Cleats
These tools of Casey's trade likely served the legendary Yankees manager amidst the most glorious days ever enjoyed by a major league manager. Casey's size 7 Yankees cap is manufactured and tagged by Tim McAuliffe Inc. In addition to the McAuliffe tag, the interior band is stamped "KM pro cap." The underside of bill is torn with the rigid interior having become brittle and cracked. The accompanying turf shoes are well worn, inspiring one to imagine Casey pacing the dugout and roaming the field during the height of the Yankees dynasty. LOA from the Stengel family.
