GAME USED BALL FROM CASEY STENGEL'S 1000 VICTORY AS YANKEE MANAGER SIGNED BY 24
This prominent keepsake from Casey's personal collection is an OAL (Harridge) baseball that was used during Casey's 1000^th victory as manager of the New York Yankees in 1959. The ball has been signed by 24 Yankees players and the notation "1000 Victory June 13, 1959" is written on sweet spot. Players are: Bauer, Berra, Blanchard, Brickell, Bronstad, Coates, Ditmar, Duren, Ford, Howard, Kubek, Larsen, Lopez, Maas, McDougald, Pisoni, Richardson, Shantz, Siebern, Skowron, Slaughter, Terry, Throneberry, and Turley. Only Miller Huggins and Joe Torre have reached the 1000^th victory milestone as manager of the New York Yankees. Signatures rate 6-7/10 overall. LOAs from PSA/DNA, JSA and the Stengel family.
