1933 GOUDEY BASEBALL COMPLETE SET OF 239
In 1933 the Goudey Gum Co. produced the first large format set designed to appeal to kids. The enticement of bubble gum in each pack, along with simple, colorful imagery, made it an instant hit. In its time, the 240 card series offered a player selection unrivaled by any set since the T206 American Tobacco issue with many of its most popular stars represented multiple times. Today, nearly one quarter of its ranks are enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Offered here is an attractive set in EX-MT condition overall with cards ranging from P to NM-MT.
