Vintage Goudey Gum Co. Wooden Shipping Box
Pioneering bubblegum magnates Enos Goudey and Harold C. DeLong founded The Goudey Gum Company of Boston in 1919. When they later produced a series of baseball trading cards to accompany their central product in 1933, they unknowingly created a modern day hobby classic. This rare Goudey artifact, measuring 28" by 14" by 14" is the ideal enhancement to any pre-war card display. The printing of the company's 113 Broad Street address in Boston as well as the "OH BOY GUM" brand printed on the side date the box to the early 1920's.
