This is an attractive complete set of the multi-sport 1930's prewar gum issue that is a perennial hobby favorite. Some of the greatest athletes of the era spanning all genres of sports are featured among the 48 cards in the series. Several of the key cards have been graded by PSA. Most cards range from VG to EX+. Key cards are: #1 Cobb PSA 1 P-F (looks better), 2 Ruth PSA 4 VG-EX, 4 Grange PSA 2 GD, 6 Thorpe PSA 4 VG-EX, 8 Hagen PSA 5 EX, 16 Tilden PSA 5 EX, 17 Dempsey PSA 2 GD, 19 Shore PSA 6 EX-MT, 20 Kahanamoku PSA 5 EX, 24 Morenz PSA 6 EX-MT, 32 Lopchick PSA 4 VG-EX, 35 Rockne PSA 2 GD, 38 Jones PSA 4 VG-EX, 42 Hubbell PSA 4 VG-EX, 45 Didrickson PSA 2 GD. The following cards have slight to moderate lines from being in an old photo album across the top 1/2" on the reverse: #2, 3, 4, 8, 14, 18, 22, 27, 33, 35, 41, 43, 46.
