Description

Two summer evening gowns, 1940s, one of yellow silk crepe with sequined midriff, the other of ivory crepe with printed floral bodice and full skirt, bust 86cm, 34in (2)

Condition

Ecru gown - small holes in skirt, left rear, staining to left hand side of skirt. Silk insets to front of bodice, waist and sleeves, completely worn. White gown - discolouration/staining to rear of bodice, small holes in hem, and in front of skirt towards waistband. Chinese style blouse - small foxing marks. Other two blouses - various small holes and marks, tear to silk hem on polka dot blouse
