A group of carriage parasols, umbrellas and a walking stick, mainly 1840-70, including a pink moire and chine parasol with softwood handle, another with folding horn handle, brown silk example and others (10) Provenance: the late Harry Matthews
Condition
• Pink moire – tip of ivory finial is broken, otherwise good condition
• Brown moire – good condition
• Gold pagoda-shaped – 3 slightly re-stitched seams, otherwise good
• Cream silk – slight damp speckling, horn slider ring is damaged
• Cream cotton – soiled appearance but otherwise ok
• Walking cane – lacking silver tip on grip and brass tip on base
• 4 others with split and damaged canopies
